One Fine Day
5:30pm – 8:30pm
On Baldwin Avenue
Makawao Third Friday has the theme of “One Fine Day,” featuring a night of music by local favorites, The Haiku Hillbillies, on the main stage. Maui Classic Cruisers will be joining in the fun. Be sure to check out line dancing performed by Keone’s Hot Lava Studio near the corner of Nakui Road at 7pm. Night cruising Podcast will be broadcasting live from the Sip Me Coffee Shop courtyard all evening. The amazing KKHS jazz and pop band, June Skies, will be performing in the Maui Hands parking lot.
We are excited to continue our KEIKI ZONE, located in the Komoda Bakery parking lot. We are happy to announce that the amazing Brenton Keith & his Bag of Tricks will be back to performing magic. The Spider Jumper bungie trampoline will be present, as well as a face painter and balloon animals. Makawao Boys & Girls Club will be offering some fun keiki activities, as well as the Akaku Community TV Youth Program. Be sure to take a moment to get interviewed by the Akaku youth student reporters.
Join us for dinner at one of our award winning Makawao Restaurants or our pop up food court near Designing Wahine. We have a new table seating area near Gecko Trading Company and Volcano Spice Company, come down and enjoy some dinner music by Joshua.
In keeping with a local tradition since 1926, Makawao welcomes our newest Salon at 3667 Baldwin Avenue, HALO, which is an Aveda Store and Boutique Salon. Stop by for their Grand Opening at Makawao Third Friday to help them celebrate.
